As the majority of hospital care in Canada is provided in community hospitals, Meca General is uniquely positioned to teach new and better ways to meet the growing needs of our communities.
Affiliated with the University of Toronto, the hospital's strong teaching role is supported by many academic links. Meca General prepares future physicians, nurses, other health care professionals and administrative and operational personnel to provide essential care.
